Systems Thinking

Systems thinking provide students a more effective way of interpreting the complexities of the world, which is increasingly dynamic, global and complex.  Systems Thinkers analyze how parts of a whole system interact with each other in order to produce overall outcomes and an understanding of the relatedness of forces.

Global Awareness

Students learn from and working collaboratively with individuals representing diverse populations and perspectives in a spirit of mutual respect and open dialogue. Students encompasse the critical understanding of concepts that impact the world, which include, but are not limited to, environmental, social, cultural, political, and economic relations.

Problem Solving​

21st Century Problem Solvers identify and ask questions that clarify various points of view that lead to innovative and unconventional ways to better solutions.

 

  • Offers a very clear and convincing description of how to best solve the problem, meet the challenge, or answer the inquiry question.

  • Tests ideas. With little assistance, assesses and clearly describes the outcome and decides if a new solution is necessary 21st Century Skills

Civic Responsibility

Students exercise the rights and obligations of citizenship at the local or wider community level by showing interest and being involved.  Students understand the local and global implication of civic decisions.
